Complaint Resolution

If you believe that special education requirements have not been followed by a Livingston Parish Public Schools or you have a dispute with the delivery of special education services, the following dispute resolution options are available to you:

First: Contact your child's special education teacher to discuss your concerns

Second: Contact the principal of your child's school

Third: Contact your school's IEP Facilitator

Fourth: Contact the Director of Special Education Dr. Eric Penalber at 225-686-4245 or

Fifth: Complete the Written Requests for Informational Resolution of Special Education Complaint (located in parent's Rights Booklet).
